Position Summary

We are seeking a bright, motivated individual for a full-time/Part Time, permanent position as Customer Service Representative.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Viable candidates for this position *must*:   

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic cash handling and computer skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask in a retail environment
• Interest in model trains or hobby retail is a plus (but not required)

The primary responsibilities will be:   

• Greet and assist customers in a welcoming, professional manner
• Operate the front desk and cashier system accurately
• Maintain store organization and product displays
• Receive and document repair items with attention to detail
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service intake
• Help maintain a clean and inviting retail environment

Who are we?

The Train Doctor is the largest Model Train repair and upgrade center in the United States. We service and repair model trains and accessories from around the world. We also provide custom layouts and displays to commercial customers around the USA. We provide an informal work-environment, but it is fast-paced, high-tech, fun, and challenging.
