Position Summary

Over the past couple years, The Train Doctor has grown to unimaginable scales. This leaves us once again needing more help in our shop and warehouse. 

We are currently looking to hire an operations assistant to help us manage our inventory, assist in our online sales, and to manage our shipping and logistics. 

We are happy to train on our internal programs, but we are looking for someone that is both tech savvy and well-versed in Internet sales and retail. 

If you are looking to work 4-5 days a week, want to be in a fun and inviting environment, and be part of our growing business, this may be a great opportunity! We are seeking a bright, motivated individual for a full-time/Part Time, permanent position as our Operations Assistant.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

• Be assertive and mature, with good people/communication skills
• Have an easy, innate aptitude with computers, systems and numbers.
• Have a questioning, analytical personality that is always looking for a better way to do things

The primarily responsibilities will be:

• Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned
• Maintain good customer rapport with customers both over the phone and in-person.
• To maintain a safe, clean, clutter free, and organized work environment.
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude.

Who are we?

The Train Doctor is the East coasts premier Model Train repair and upgrade center located in Ocean Twp, New Jersey. We service and repair model trains and accessories from around the world. We also provide custom layouts and displays to commercial customers around the USA. We provide an informal work-environment, but it is fast-paced, high-tech, fun, and challenging.
